Why do I support the Yellow Ribbon Run?

Run for a good cause and a great experience!

The principle of fair play should work both in sports and in life. Everyone should be responsible for their mistakes, so judging children by the failures of their parents is not right. Let's show those children that their suffering is not invisible to us and that they do not have to face those obstacles they don't deserve alone.

Barbora Černošková
TV presenter and the ambassador for children of imprisoned parents

I play drums in a prison band called Wsedě and thinking there's more I could do to help, I joined the “Yellow Ribbon” project. People coming out of prison just need to get along with the plastic bag and the criminal record in their hands a chance - to get a job, some housing... Because what do they do if we don't help them start a new life? They'll do what they know, what got them in prison before. Well, you don't want that.

Petr Čtvrtníček
Actor, screenwriter, and ambassador of the Yellow Ribbon Project

Yellow Ribbon Run is a symbol of a second chance in which we are united by sport, solidarity, and courage to help people with criminal records start over and become valid members of society.

Gabriela Slováková
Instigator of the Czechia Yellow Ribbon Run and Director of the Department of Criminal Policy of the Ministry of Justice
